Mission Month Resources
-
October is World Mission Month in the Catholic Church, a time for Catholics worldwide to support and celebrate global missionary work. This month is an excellent opportunity to engage young people, helping them connect their faith to the realities faced by others around the world. It begins with the feast of St. Thérèse of Lisieux and concludes with World Mission Sunday, a day of prayer and global solidarity in parishes.
Pope Francis encourages all members of Catholic communities to see themselves as missionary disciples, sharing God's love everywhere. Each year, we echo his call by encouraging participation in World Mission Month among pupils and staff.
