MCP Collecting and Processing Donations for Appeals

There are three options to donate to the Mission Groups:

1. An in-pew collection (cash or check) immediately after the appeal.

2. Distribute envelopes before the appeal date and ask parishioners to return donations in envelopes the following Sunday parishioners should make checks payable to the parish– noting MCP in the memo.

3. Donations online by credit card (SPOF provides the Parish with a link to an online giving page once all groups have been assigned.

The process remains the same as in previous years:

• If you receive a check made out to the Mission Organization, please ask the donor to rewrite the check to your parish

• After your appeal is complete and all funds are received, the parish should then deposit these funds and submit one check to our office. Please make a final check out to Society for the Propagation of the Faith | P.O. Box 070912 Milwaukee, WI 53207 with a memo line including MCP and the current year and your group number

• Please send the check and deposit card within 45 days of your appeal

• Do not make checks payable to the Archdiocese of Milwaukee

• Do not make checks payable to Office for World Mission or World Mission Ministries

• Do not send funds directly to the mission organizations
